Lonzo Ball underwent surgery for a torn meniscus on January 28 and was unable to return to play for the remainder of the season. He only played 35 games in total.
During the 2020-2021 season, Ball had the best stats of his career, averaging 13.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 3.1 three-pointers made, and 2.7 combined steals and blocks per game.
Ball’s overall performance in the NBA has been hindered by injuries throughout his career. Despite this, the Chicago Bulls signed him during the offseason and are hoping for his continued improvement and contribution to the team.
